H.E. Mohammed Khalfan Al Romaithi is currently holding the position of General Director of National Emergency and Crisis Management Authority (NCEMA), Member of NCEMA Board of Directors. He had joined NCEMA from its start in 2007.
H.E. Al Romaithi had joined the Armed Force in 1983 and on the same time got his scholarship in UAE University and graduated in 1988 with Bachelor in Economics and Accounting. In 1990 he joined Sandhurst Academy.
H.E. Al Romaithi had spent over 24 years on the Armed Force and reached the rank of Colonel then he moved to NCEMA.
In 2006, H.E. Al Romaithi was the Project Manager of the UAE Program to Support and Rebuild Lebanon where he was leading the team who was responsible for rebuilding the roads, schools and hospitals and worked in providing the supporting services for the Lebanese.
Besides his current position in NCEMA, H.E. Al Romaithi is the president of the UAE Football Association, Member of the Federal Electricity and Water Authority and member of Khalifa University Board of Trustees.
H.E. was leading NCEMA team from its starts on its foundation year in order to sit its strategy, aims and goals in order to position the authority on its ideal position and function its rule that was established for. NCEMA which is the major national standard-setting body that is responsible for regulating and coordinating all efforts of emergency and crisis management as well as the development of a national plan for responding to emergencies.
