Khalifa University for Science, Technology and Research (KUSTAR) has announced today the advisory panel members names of its nanotechnology research centre. The names are Prof. Evelyn HU, from Harvard University and the former director of California NanoSystems Institute (CNSI), Prof. Teruo Kishi, President of the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS), Prof. Gernot Güntherodt, Director at II. Physikalisches Institut of RWTH Aachen University, Germany, Prof. Maw-Kuen WU, Director of Institute of Physics, Academia Sinica in Taiwan and Prof. C.N.R. RAO, Honorary President at the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research in India and the Chairman of the Scientific Advisory Council to the Indian Prime Minister.

Abu Dhabi gears up for Advanced Technical Training at KUSTAR Khalifa University for Science, Technology and Research (KUSTAR), a leading institution for science, technology and research, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Intel Corporation in a move to make the most up-to-date computing technologies and skills available to the capital's UAE Nationals.

Khalifa University for Science, Technology and Research (KUSTAR) announced that its Master's program in Information Security has received initial accreditation from the ministry of higher education and scientific research in the UAE. The program will be launched this year to supply the market with the required skills.
Candidate students in this program are employees and fresh graduates of different disciplines including Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or other relevant degrees.
The forum has focused on advances in information and communication technologies, which include sessions on research and educational networks, research funding and the UAE advanced network for research and education. The forum was attended by a number of officials and representatives from the public and private sectors, university chancellors, deans and media representatives.
The ICT Fund has funded the establishment of the Emirates Advanced Network for Research & Education (ANKABUT), with AED 61 Million.
